Benton High School Science Teacher Daniel Benz runs marathons at least once every month. But he’s been training since last spring for a special race – The Rocky Raccoon 100 Mile Endurance Run.”People are very curious when I tell them I’m getting ready to run a 100 mile race, they find that interesting and they want to know more,” said Benz.Even though it won’t be his first 100 mile race, it will still be a special one. Benz recently learned of the constant needs of the Noyes Home For Children, and decided to use his upcoming race as a way to raise money.
